This wine has a nice complexity and tannins melting in the mouth.

 

  • Appellation : AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
  • Area : 4 ha
  • Soil : clay-limestone silt
  • Grape varieties : 80% merlot, 20% cabernet franc
  • Ageing : 12 months ageing in French oak barrels, 60 % of which is new oak

 

Château Haut-Fonrazade, a 4 ha piece of land in the municipality of St- Emilion, was acquired by Mr. Carles in 1957. It is located on a beautiful sandy soil with traces of iron deposits.
